30 October 2009 - Swedish state-owned utility Vattenfall AB and local sector player Industrikraft will announce at a press conference today plans to build at least one nuclear reactor in Sweden, the Ekot programme of public service broadcaster Sveriges Radio reported.

Under a cooperation contract, the partners are studying which kind of energy is the most cost-efficient. But the purpose of Industrikraft when it was set up was to develop nuclear power for Swedish industry, which stands behind the company.
