ROBBINSVILLE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 1, 1998--NexMed, Inc. (OTC BB: NEXM) announced today that at the 8th World Meeting on Impotence Research in Amsterdam, Dr. Edgardo F. Becher, M.D, presented data from a clinical study conducted in Argentina, which concluded that Alprox-TD(TM), NexMed's proprietary topical cream, produced similar hemodynamic effects as penile injections of alprostadil. The study involved 10 patients and the data had previously been announced at the 93rd Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association in San Diego in May 1998.
