In early September 2009, Sinopec Corp. cut its supply of SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber), however, because of the apparent price down of natural rubber, China's SBR prices was dull with fluctuation.

In mid-September, due to the price drop of raw materials and the slack demand for SBR in downstream sectors, the price of SBR fell with few trading actions.

As of September 24th, China's rosin SBR was traded at RMB13 400-13 700/t, a decrease of RMB 100-300/t from a month earlier, and the prices of oil-extended SBR dropped RMB200/t to RMBI 1 400-11 800/t.

The increased export will give a support to the price of SBR, but the demand for SBR ...
