CORVALLIS - Six Oregon companies and three individuals have been named winners of the Family Business Awards given annually by the Austin Family Business Program at Oregon State University. It is the oldest family business awards program in the nation, according to OSU.
James W. Fowler Co. of Dallas, Ore., was the winning family business in the large category (100 or more employees). Fall Creek Farm & Nursery Inc. in Lowell was the winner in the medium category (25-99 employees).
