The Bangladeshi Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith Monday advised the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) leaders to set up the proposed SAARC Food Bank to control rising prices and meet the ever increasing food demands.

Giving priority to ensuring food security, chiefs of central banks of SAARC nations on Monday brainstormed strategies in Bangladesh to fight against hunger through adopting a long-term regional approach, national news agency BSS reported.
