French building-to-broadcasting giant Bouygues SA (EN.FR) is mulling the future of its 50% stake in Alstom SA's (ALO.FR) hydro power-kit unit Alstom Hydro, which it could convert into Alstom shares, but hasn't yet taken a decision on the subject, a company spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Bouygues has the option, from November, to sell its shares of Alstom Hydro, in which it holds 50%, or swap them for 4.4 million Alstom shares, or 1.5% of the company's capital, according to the terms of a 2006 agreement between the two companies.
