It has been a tough start to the Spanish season for Real Madrid who are still smarting from their mid-week shock 4-0 loss against lowly third-tier side Alcorcon in their King's Cup first leg.

Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez has appealed for 'time and calm' as coach Manuel Pellegrini tackles the formidable task of assembling his Galacticos into a successful team.

But doubts and rumours have been raised in the Spanish media about Pellegrini's future ahead of their La Liga home clash against city rivals Getafe on Saturday.
