Sep. 2--When Lady, a three-year-old labrador, swallowed some keys and a St Christopher medallion, her owner's pet insurance came to the rescue -- and picked up a vet's bill for UKpound 280.
Owner Jan Woodcock, from Kent, explained: "Every evening Lady would greet my husband Tim from work and take his keys from him. But one morning Tim couldn't find his keys.
"We looked high and low before concluding the only place they could be was inside Lady."
The Woodcocks' vet took x-rays and confirmed their suspicion. Lady immediately had surgery.
