Governor's Awards for Excellence in Recycling
In the business world, recycling means more than just tossing soft-drink cans and old newspapers into the recycling bin. Indiana companies are finding ways to recycle everything from sand to wheelchairs to the sulfur in coal.
The state annually recognizes recyclers from business as well as governmental agencies, schools and individuals with the Governor's Awards for Excellence in Recycling. Recipients are selected by a review committee consisting of industry, government, academic and environmental leaders.
