An experience with Spain
When Alix and I were in Spain, we experienced many examples of a very caring culture. I am sure there are exceptions yet it certainly appeared and felt to be a country of care.
Here are examples:
The countryside and fields are picturesque. You can see that there has been and is ongoing attention given to the fields.
They look like well-kept gardens on a large scale. As we drove through the remote areas, we saw individuals and small groups of folks tending to their field, most of the time by hand.
Most every hill was terraced and you could tell it was done for decades ...
