IDB has approved a US$24.8mn credit line to support a government road improvement program in Guyana, the multilateral financial entity reported in a release.
The money will be used to improve the East and West Canje roads and the urban road network in capital Georgetown, the release said.
Repaving work will be carried out on the 3.5km access road to the Cheddi Jagan international airport from the East Bank road (EBR), and the 7km Sheriff Street-Mandela Road stretch in Georgetown.
