Harris Corp. has won a contract worth up to $196.5 million to provide information technology services to the State Department s Bureau of Consular Affairs.

Under the contract, Harris, which is based in Melbourne, Fla. with offices in the Washington area, will instal equipment and software applications and provide training and help desk services to support operations at 270 domestic and international consulate locations, including embassies and passport agencies. The company also will be responsible for systems configuration management, repairs and technology upgrades.
