JetBlue Airways Corp. said Thursday it plans a big expansion of service next summer at Boston Logan International Airport, boosting the number of daily flights there by 30%.
The profitable discount carrier, the No. 7 U.S. airline by traffic, said it already offers the most nonstop destinations of any airline operating out of Logan, with 30 airports served in the U.S. and Caribbean. By summer, it will serve 33 destinations from Boston, and offer up to 78 daily flights, said the carrier, which is based in Forest Hills, N.Y.
