YOU hear it all the time; people proclaiming that nobody's ever come back from heaven, so how can we know what it's like. Well, it's also been said that when God made heaven, he modelled it on Mauritius (Mark Twain).
I've just got back from Paradise and I can inform you with confidence that it really is somewhere you want to go and it's worth being good for.
Set in the Indian Ocean just off the coast of Madagascar and 23 degrees south of the Equator, Mauritius is quite simply heavenly.
Our first destination on the island was aptly named Le Paradis ...
