Friday night On a windy Friday night before the city's annual Freakfest Halloween celebration, police said crowds remained mellow on State Street.
No arrests had been made as of 9 p.m., said Central District Capt. Mary Schauf.
"Things look really good right now," Schauf said. "I'm pleased."
Tickets still are available for $10 for Freakfest, which features performances from musical acts Third-Eye Blind, Cage the Elephant, Push Play, the Nod and Locksley.
The event begins at 7 p.m. today and ends at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
