DR BINGU wa Mutharika, the president of the Republic of Malawi, brought the obligatory framed presidential photograph of himself, an entourage and a can-do turnaround story to our shores this week.
The man hailed by the supporters of his Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) as a "modern-day Moses" - during his inauguration as he began his second presidential term in May - received the 2009 Drivers of Change Award in Joburg.
