THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO, Nov 1, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Children and parents 'Jumped Up' for public child care this afternoon at a free children's concert held at the West Thunder Community Centre.
Today's concert was the third stop in the seven-city concert series that is a joint project of CUPE Ontario, the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care and the Ontario Federation of Labour. Another 'Jump Up' concert also took place today in Sudbury.
"We hope the parents and children of Thunder Bay have enjoyed this free concert as much as we enjoy putting it on," say CUPE Ontario Secretary-Treasurer Fred Hahn, who attended the concert.
