Newton homey Rib Hillis, the resident hammer hunk on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," went from male model to TV nail-banger - thanks to his handy-dandy dad, who taught him how to build things starting at age 3.

"I talk about my father as my inspiration," Hillis told the Track. "He would do everything around the house. As a little kid, I can remember helping him. I had a mini hammer - that was my hammer."
