Article: FURLA'S GROWTH SPURT.

CLEAN DESIGN, HIGHLY SKILLED WORKMANSHIP AND FRANCHISED STORES HAVE HELPED THIS COMPANY PROSPER.

BOLOGNA -- Furla is one of those overnight successes that took 70 years.

Between 1996 and 1997, the leather goods maker doubled its volume and has been making a name for itself outside Italy with its product and its franchised stores.
