TWO NEW POWER PLANTS TO BE IN OPERATION IN BANGLADESH EARLY 2010
DHAKA - Two new peaking power plants with a total capacity of about 390 megawatts are likely to come into operation in Bangladesh by early next year to partly meet growing peak-hour demand for electricity.
The new plants are 240MW Siddhirganj plant and 150MW Shikalbaha plant.
