Tom Blomberg has a hard time imagining why anyone would want to get rid of limited medical programs. As an AVP with Minnesota-based BCS Insurance Group, Blomberg has seen firsthand how the plans provide access to health insurance for people who traditionally would not otherwise be able to afford it. However, several of the health care reform bills in Congress right now call for a base level of benefits with no caps on coverage, which if passed, will put limited medical plans out of compliance and in jeopardy of extinction, he says.
