SHELTON, Conn., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P. ("Iroquois") announced today that the third and final phase of its 08/09 Expansion Project was placed in-service on November 1, 2009, as scheduled. Construction for the addition of the 10,300 horsepower compressor unit at Iroquois' existing Brookfield Compressor Station, located in Brookfield, Connecticut, was completed mid-October and the unit commenced operation on November 1, 2009, following approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
