AFTER a decade of intensive lobbying by leading figures in europe the man who should be called the grandfather of modern Irish golf is to finally get the global recognition he deserves.
Tomorrow, during a glitzy reception in florida, Galway farmer's son Christy O'Connor will be inducted into the World Golf Hall of fame.
