CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The newly formed Bobbin World, set to open in Atlanta Thursday, Sept. 10, is getting high preview marks from some companies that were the Bobbin Show's staunchest critics.
The Bobbin Show came under fire in recent years -- particularly from major sewing machine manufacturers -- primarily because it was held on an annual basis (which was "too often") and because many participants felt it did not put enough emphasis on non-apparel sectors of the sewn-products industry.
