Nov 02, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian sharemarket lost ground on 2 November 2009, with the S&P/ASX 200 shedding 102.8 points to finish at 4,540.4. The All Ordinaries Index eased 100.6 points to close at 4,546.3. Rio Tinto fell $A0.99 to end the session at $A62.79 and the ANZ Bank was down $A0.47 at $A22.59.
