Whoever gets Marmion in the second round of the Class 6A playoffs, either Prairie Ridge or King, has to deal with a scary, multiheaded monster.
Against No. 15 Huntley the second-seeded Cadets ran for 368 yards yet no single back broke 100. Matt Pircon, Bobby Winkel, T.J. Lally, Adam Andras and Nick Scoliere each ran for at least 66 yards with a touchdown in MarmionAEs 42-20 win over the Red Raiders on the turf at Aurora Christian.
"As a defensive coach I would hate to prepare for us. But, weAEve still got to execute," said Marmion coach Dan Thorpe.
