Iraqi men's youth volleyball league begins, with the favorites winning but with one surprise team: Qaraqoosh.
After five days of matches between teams from Kurdistan/North group, the team qualifying for the semifinal and representing the North is Qaraqoosh. The Qaraqoosh team posted a surprise win over hosts Hewler in the last day's big match in Erbil. Competition kicked off on October 23.
In order to run the matches safely and easily as far as security and transportation were concerned, teams were divided into four groups Middle, Euphrates, South, and Kurdistan/North groups. ...
