FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- American Eagle, the world's largest regional airline, will launch nonstop jet service between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Houston's Hobby Airport on Dec. 7. American Eagle is the regional affiliate of American Airlines.
American Eagle will replace turboprops with new 50-passenger ERJ-145 jets on two of its 11 daily round-trip flights. Three weeks later, on Dec. 28, the airline will add jets on two more round trips. American Eagle expects to operate an all-jet schedule between DFW and Houston by next spring.
