A driver waiting to pick up a client at the David Clark Learning Center on Syracuse's North State Street had an interesting observation the other day.
"What is this?" he asked. "A happy hour?"
He had it right. The folks at the center for people with traumatic brain injuries were having a happy time. They were jamming, making a joyous sound.
"I don't know where I'd be without this," Shawn Mack says, resting from giving his conga drum, and his voice, a workout. "It saved my life."
