Kristen M. Kowalewski and Christopher J. Procopio were married April 25, 2009, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Syracuse. Officiating the Roman Catholic nuptial Mass was Monsignor Peter Gleba, celebrant. Concelebrants were Reverend John Roark, who performed the nuptial blessing, and Reverend Thomas Kobuszewski.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Josephine Kowalewski, of Liverpool. She is the granddaughter of the late John and Mary Tucci and the late Walter and Anna Kowalewski.
