NEW DELHI, Nov 3 Asia Pulse -As many as 13 public sector banks, including big ones such as Bank of Baroda (BSE:532134), Central Bank of India (BSE:532885) and Union Bank of India (BSE:532477), have failed to achieve the annual farm sector lending target during the last fiscal.
Besides, Corporation Bank (BSE:532179), United Bank of India, Dena Bank (BSE:532121), Vijaya Bank (BSE:532401), Bank of Maharashtra (BSE:532525), Oriental Bank of Commerce (BSE:500315) and Punjab and Sind Bank also missed the target, said a report on trend and progress of banking in India 2008-09 released by RBI.
