SYDNEY, Nov 3 Asia Pulse - The Australian sharemarket opened higher on Tuesday following positive leads from Wall Street.

At 1015 AEDT, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 30 points, or 0.66 per cent, at 4570.4, while the broader All Ordinaries had risen 30.1 points, or 0.66 per cent, at 4576.4.

On the Sydney Futures Exchange, the December share price index contract added 23 points to 4,566, on volume of 9,300 contracts.

NAB was up 14 cents at $29.04, Westpac lifted 10 to $25.69, Commonwealth Bank was up 33 cents at $51.24, and ANZ rose 10 cents to $22.69.

Mining giant BHP Billiton added four cents to $36.75 and Rio Tinto firmed 42 ...
