TOWNSEND - Despite gloomy Halloween weather, it seemed as if the whole town showed up yesterday for the dedication of the largest gift in Townsend history: the new town library and senior center built by Sterilite Corp.
Sterilite has kept the cost of constructing the new library, senior center and meeting hall secret, said Town Administrator Gregory W. Barnes. The complex is on the 7-acre site where the town Highway Department building once stood.
