RICHMOND, Va. -- MeadWestvaco Corp. (NYSE:MWV) has named Alejandro ("Alex") CedeSo vice president, Global Innovation, effective October 16, 2009. In this new role, Mr. CedeSo will be located at MWV's Center for Packaging Innovation (CPI) in Raleigh, N.C., where he will oversee the CPI and will also be responsible for implementing and managing an enhanced innovation process across MWV.
