A local historical preservation organization's lawsuit filed recently seeks to stop the demolition of 50 buildings at Lindbergh Field once used by Teledyne Ryan Industries.
Save Our Heritage Organisation alleged in the complaint filed against two government agencies, the Port of San Diego, which owns the land, and the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, which manages the airport, that they failed to comply with state laws in preparing an environmental report and failed to address alternatives to demolishing the buildings, some of which SOHO considers historically significant.
