REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Silver Spring Networks, a leading Smart Grid solutions provider, today announced the addition of Rick Simonson, Head of Mobile Phones for Finland-based Nokia, to its Board of Directors. Rick, formerly Nokia's Chief Financial Officer, will chair the Audit Committee.
