TEESSIDE engineering giant, Aker Solutions, has a blueprint in place for developing the skills of its workforce.
And the company, which employs almost 600 staff at Stockton and in satellite offices in Warrington and Whitehaven, is investing in the talent of tomorrow with its apprenticeship scheme.
The company recruits six new apprentices every year into its Stockton-based operation, working in either project control disciplines or as design technicians.
This enables the company to train people from a grassroots level.
