Sep. 3--Pub owners Anna and Tony Leahy hoped a move to the suburbs would help them repeat the success of their wildly popular downtown Phantom Canyon Brewing Co.
But 1 1/2 years after opening the Phantom Canyon Tap Room at the corner of Union and North Academy boulevards, the Leahys decided the new business wasn't racking up enough profit.
So they've made some changes.
The northside watering hole became The Flying Dog Pub last week, to reflect the addition of the Aspen brewery's signature suds and a menu change catering more to the neighborhood's tastes.
