o Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc., of San Diego, provided an update on the timing of its Phase II adjunctive therapy trial with ACP-103 in patients with schizophrenia, saying enrollment is ahead of schedule, which should enable the company to report top-line results for the complete 400-patient clinical trial during the first quarter of 2007, ahead of earlier expectations. The company no longer plans an interim analysis based on the first 200 patients, which had been planned to be conducted by the end of 2006. Acadia's stock (NASDAQ:ACAD) closed Monday at $8.20, up 32 cents.
