o Ambrilia Biopharma Inc., of Montreal, reported findings from a Phase Ia study of its HIV protease inhibitor, PPL-100, showing that the drug is safe and well tolerated with a favorable pharmacokinetic profile. Results also indicated that the drug has a long elimination half-life. Data were reported at the XVI International AIDS Conference in Toronto.
