o Accelrys Inc., of San Diego, completed its merger with SciTegic Inc., of San Diego, a provider of workflow software solutions for the research science market. SciTegic now is a wholly owned subsidiary of Accelrys. Accelrys is a provider of software for computation, simulation and the management and mining of scientific data.
o Amarin Corp. plc, of London, received shareholder approval for its acquisition of Laxdale Ltd., of Stirling, Scotland. The company also was authorized to proceed with a private equity offering.
