o Accelrys Inc., of San Diego, said it would release a full suite of modeling and simulation tools to be used on the Linux operating system of IBM Corp., of Somers, N.Y. The company plans to launch Cerius2 and Quanta, software tools for 2-D and 3-D modeling, on Red Hat Linux operating platform. Accelrys' stock (NASDAQ:ACCL) rose 83 cents, or 14.4 percent, to close at $6.59.
