o Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc., of Vancouver, British Columbia, said it broadened its alliance with Baxter Healthcare Corp., of Deerfield, Ill., giving Baxter the right to manufacture CoSeal, a surgical sealant, and Adhibit, a surgical anti-adhesive. Angiotech got the products through its acquisition of Cohesion Technologies Inc. in September. In February, Angiotech gave Baxter worldwide (excluding Japan and certain other territories) sales, marketing and distribution rights for CoSeal and Adhibit for total potential compensation of C$34 million (US$15.1 million).
