o Advanced Life Sciences Inc., of Woodbridge, Ill., completed a deal to purchase a building in the same city to house its corporate headquarters and research and development laboratory facilities. The privately held company, which is developing infection, cancer and inflammation drugs, said additional lab space in the 41,000-square-foot facility would aid its drug discovery and development efforts.
