ImClone Systems Inc. turned a profit.
Revenue related to initial sales of Erbitux (cetuximab) drove the New York-based cancer drug developer into the black, allowing the company to begin what it believes will be a period of continued profitability. Its total revenues jumped to $109.6 million for the quarter ended March 31, up $90 million from a year earlier, with a large portion due to milestones related to the product's approval and launch.
