o Accelrys Inc., of San Diego, released the Accord Enterprise Webkit, its latest software solution for chemical and biological information management.
o Biogen Idec Inc., of Cambridge, Mass., said Australian regulatory authorities approved Amevive (alefacept) for sale in that country to treat adult moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis patients who are candidates for phototherapy or systemic therapy. Approved in the U.S. early last year, it was the first biologic therapy approved for moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis in adults. (See BioWorld Today, Feb. 3, 2003.)
