o Ablynx NV, of Ghent, Belgium, entered an oncology collaboration with Genencor International Inc., of Palo Alto, Calif. Ablynx will use its Nanobody platform to discover and develop new drug candidates against tumor targets specified by Genencor. Ablynx will receive research funding and license fees in addition to milestone payments and royalties upon commercialization. Genencor will assume responsibility for the preclinical and clinical development of lead Nanobodies, as well as the commercialization of resulting products.
