Access Pharmaceuticals Inc., of Dallas, said Strakan Group Ltd., of Galashiels, Scotland, its worldwide licensee for ResiDerm, signed a licensing agreement granting exclusive marketing rights for Zindaclin for continental Europe to Fujisawa GmbH, a subsidiary of Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., of Osaka, Japan. Strakan launched Zindaclin in the UK in March. Using the ResiDerm drug delivery technology, Zindaclin is a clindamycin phosphate/zinc complex offering acne sufferers the only once-daily topical treatment available, the company said.
