Airbus SAS, the world's largest commercial plane maker, on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding with Tianjin Free Trade Zone to will set up a logistics center there.
The logistics center will help the company optimize its supply chain management for all its industrial cooperation projects in the country and serve as a hub for managing the transportation to and from China of all the goods needed for the projects, the company said in a statement.
The project has been divided into three phases. The center will start operation in January 2010 at a temporary location in Tianjin Free Trade Zone's Comprehensive Bonded Area. ...
