The renewable energy arm of state-owned Philippine National Oil Co. (PNOC) is in talks with foreign and local investors for a plan to build 11 hydropower plants in the country with a total capacity of 300 megawatts (MW).
Pedro H. Maniego, Jr., president of PNOC Renewables Corp. (PNOC-RC), said "several local and foreign companies have signed MoUs memorandum of understanding expressing their interest to partner with us."
